These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Green Apps suite of lawn bowls applications, including Green Bowler, Green Captain and any future apps we release (together, “the Apps”). The Apps are provided by Green Apps, a sole trader business owned and operated by Jacqueline Ridley, operating under English and Welsh law.
By creating an account or using any of the Apps, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

To use the Apps you must register with a valid email address and create a password. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure. Please do not share your account with others.
You must be aged 16 or over to create an account.
You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep it up to date.
The Apps are designed for personal, individual use by lawn bowlers and team captains to record and track their own bowling activity.

The Apps are designed for use by individual bowlers, team captains, or club administrators, depending on the App, to record, track, and manage bowling-related activity for themselves or their club. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that show usage inconsistent with this purpose — for example, an individual-use account being used to record data for many unrelated people, or a club account being used outside the scope of a single club’s own activity.
If we have concerns about your account activity we will contact you at your registered email address before taking any action, unless the activity is clearly abusive or in breach of these Terms.
Each App has its own pricing and payment structure, published on our website (greenapps.co.uk) or within the App itself at the time of purchase. Depending on the App, this may be a personal subscription billed to an individual user, or an annual fee billed to a club or organisation.
Where payments are processed by Stripe, Stripe handles card processing and billing securely on our behalf — we do not store your payment card details. Where a club or organisation is billed directly, payment terms will be confirmed separately at the time of registration. Green Apps is the seller of record and is responsible for VAT/tax where applicable.
Subscriptions and annual fees renew automatically unless cancelled, and you will receive an email reminder before your renewal date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from within the App under account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period and you will retain access until that date.
Please see our Refund Policy for full details. In summary, we offer a 30-day refund from the date of subscription purchase. Requests outside this window may be considered at our discretion.
Your data belongs to you. Please see our Privacy Policy for full details of how we collect, store, and protect your data. You can export or delete your data at any time from within the App. In Green Captain, squad member data (player names and performance records) that you enter is also your data as captain. You are responsible for ensuring that personal data you enter about others is handled appropriately. See the Privacy Policy for your responsibilities as a data controller.
We aim to keep the Apps available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may carry out maintenance, updates, or improvements from time to time.
We reserve the right to change or discontinue features of the Apps, or to update these Terms. We will notify you of significant changes by email. Continued use of the Apps after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
The Apps are provided in good faith and we take care to ensure they work correctly. However, we cannot accept liability for any loss of data, loss of income, or other losses arising from your use of the Apps, except where required by law.
Where an App includes AI-generated content, such as performance or season summaries, this content is data-driven and intended for informational or entertainment purposes only. It does not guarantee specific competitive outcomes or athletic results.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
The Apps, including all content, features, design and underlying code, are the property of Green Apps. You may not copy, reproduce or distribute any part of the Apps without our written permission.
These Terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
